Who?

Work-flow instructor, team-mate, partner of a weekend brain-storming session, mentor, "Birthday-coffee" companion of last week, man of the sparkling shirts and twinkling eyes,

One drive, One accident and One death later,

Subject of hushed up cafeteria reminiscences,
One of the "Highlights" of the weekly meeting,
Spurring a blog-post.

Stated in a very matter-of-fact manner!!
I find the description quite "un-emotional" - almost callous!!

I am merely wondering... what, after all, is man's identity?

Btw, it was intended to be clinical.

if we had no memory, then there is no question of identity, personality etc. isnt it?

I remember one of my friends who passed away in BITS. it feels strange that we(me and his friends)have carried on with our lives without him. he just remains a memory now.thinking about him is disturbing not because of our impending end but the meaning of our lives before that.

I've lost a few friends and it has always been unsettling. However, like Mystic says we just go on don't we.
I feel there is no point in brooding over the life lost especially because there whether we mourn or we celebrate his life it makes little difference to them.
Move on.
