Choice

Does concretising abstractions - little post-it notes to be kind, thoughtful, to smile always and to always have hope - help? Mills & Boons and chick flicks proclaim that romance is right round the corner and to never lose hope. Really? Feel-good-gifts are the order of the day - inspirational quotes, anecdotes, self-help books, chicken soup for the soul. But I do think this is a good 'gift-idea'. I would nail Clarity to my forehead and give the rest away. As gifts. I am sure to get them back. As gifts. After all, what goes around, comes around. But most importantly, we give away what we don't like to keep. Especially wedding gifts. So clarity is all I want now. And maybe some Wodehouse to go with it. Life is a lark, ain't it?

Always I try to ensure that my gifts satisfy two conditions:

1) It should be personalized. There is no universal gift which can be given to any one. Each and every person is unique and so the gift which we give should be tailored to them.

2) I should have spent lot of time on that gift. After all taking the time to custmomize or personalize some thing is much more valuable than just flashing the credit card and asking them to deliver it at the address.
