Birds And Bees

Two curly heads
of eight and nine
X & Y, say,
huddle under
a blanket shroud
and a circle of light.
On creased newspapers,
they inspect corner
condom ads.
Furtively gleeful,
their insides turn out.

Hey Little girl,

I like the way you flirt with words to form such poetic riddles.

When you started with 2 curly heads,X and Y,i really thought you were talking about the sex chromosome!!! god knows why did it occur to me,and 8 and 9 confused me even more because they are in the 43rd chromosome if i remember right!!
and then came the newspaper which cleared my thoughts...may be,I anticipate too much just at the start of it all!!!
