She treated life as she would a caricature, laughing and then shrugging it off. She was a successful writer, "who writes about life, people and experiences" - as a leading biographer had claimed in an article. The article had left a smug smile on her face. Every person she met, was just another character in her works of 'fiction'. That is all they meant to her.
